Tina is our Practice Manager at Canberra Prosthodontics, and she has been involved in the dental industry for over twenty years and enjoys all aspects of the dental auxiliary roles within the practice. She started dental assisting after leaving high school and completed her Certificate III in Dental Assisting and then went on to complete her Diploma in Practice Management at a later stage. Tina mostly spends her time in the practice managing, training and developing our clinical auxiliary staff as well as updating our dental processes and policies. She is usually running around keeping everyone in check, but is never too busy to field a call or have a chat with a patient.
After hours she enjoys spending time with her young family and enjoys the company of her friends and family anywhere outdoors.
Helen can be found working in the reception area and will be first to greet you with her friendly hello.
Helen came to Australia in 2003 with her husband and three children, moving to the Yass area. Having a background in hospital cleaning and sterilisation of theatre equipment, Helen then was offered a position as a dental nurse with a private general dentist in Canberra. She worked 6 years in the clinical areas then moved into reception for the remaining 2 and a half years. Helen holds a dental assisting Certificate III.
Helen loves her five grandchildren, and also has a variety of animals on her property.
Isabelle is one of the friendly faces that will greet you at our reception desk.
She is a seasoned veteran in the dental profession, having been in various roles for over 10 years. She is mother to three beautiful young boys, and enjoying catching up with family and friends. Belle also likes to try and sneak in a good book or a movie when she gets the time.
Jo is our in-house lab technician. Jo hails from Korea where he trained and worked as a Dental Technician, prior to moving to Australia with his wife.
Jo has worked in a number of laboratories and dental practices over the years, gaining valuable experience and skills which allow him to contribute to Canberra Prosthodontics’ provision of excellent patient care by fabricating various components in our in-house laboratory for use in the clinic.
Jo loves to indulge in the occasional Korean Fried Chicken binge, as well as go camping in the Australian bush with his extended family.
Miki is one of our dental assistants and will always greet you with a cheery smile. Having originally trained in Japan as a hygienist before moving to Australia, Miki carries many years of clinical experience and will ensure your treatment is carried out smoothly.
She enjoys walking and going back to visit her family in Japan.
Taylor joined the Canberra Prosthodontics family in April 2021, having being in dental for four years. She has completed her Certificate III in Dental Assisting at CIT.
She has been a local to the Canberra region, having grown up in Bungendore. She enjoys spending time with her family, especially down at the coast and going camping.
Tash is one of our seasoned dental veterans and is always quick to put all of our patients at ease.
As a mother of two beautiful young girls, she always has her hands full but loves to spend her spare moments with her family and pets.
Leanne is one of our longstanding assistants at Canberra Prosthodontics, having held positions in both chairside assisting and front desk reception. She also holds a Certificate 3 in dental assisting and will make you feel at ease. She enjoys her down time with her two kids and pets.
Kristy joined Canberra Prosthodontics in July 2023 as a Dental Assistant.
She started in the Dental industry in 2022 and quickly found her passion. She hopes to pursue a career in Dentistry and Technician work in the future.
She has grown up in Canberra and enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She is a big animal lover and has a cat and a rabbit who keep her busy on the weekends.
Renu originally hails from India, but now calls Australia home, having first spent time in Melbourne before moving to Canberra. She loves spending time with her young family and travelling when she isn’t assisting chairside in surgery!
